Well, this is the open end question.
I used to use Sorenson3 for my compression from AE. I’ve noticed that people use H.324 or other HD compressions.
I’m looking for the compression that would work with both Mac and PC. It also needs to work with sound design softwares. They need to be good quality when they play back.
    Any suggestion?

What are you using the files for? Formats like h.264 are great for web/CD distribution, but aren’t at all suitable as master files of any sort.

If you are looking for a distribution codec, Quicktime h.264 is a good choice – high quality, cross-platform and universal.

If you are looking for a mastering, archiving or working codec, use the Quicktime Animation codec.
