  • alpha for Sketch – but with no lines

In the past I’ve used the mutlipass trick with SketchnToon to get an alpha of the object, but those objects always had lines (or were only lines). Now I want to do the same but with no lines and quantized shading only (and no background). I can’t for the life of me get an alpha to render no matter what devious thing I try.
    Suggestions?

I have tried the cell shader and it works but I don’t have the gradient control of the shading that I do in SnT.

    Object Buffer?

    Thanks Brian,
We ended up just running another render with no S&T, no textures and an alpha, and passing the S&T render through the non S&T alpha. But I’ll give the object buffers a try.
    Cheers
