Hi everybody, I am having a small problem in AE 8. I just started using it, but been a FCP user for years.
I have a quicktime movie at 25 fps, when I import it into AE and make a new comp with it, AE sais the footage is 32 fps and plays it at 32 fps. The weird thing is, when I change the comp settings to 25 the footage starts to stutter. I’m pretty sure the footage is 25 fps, since it’s a screen capture done with Snapz Pro X at 25 fps.

    Am I missing something here?
    Thanks in advance.

Open the quicktime in the quicktime player and check the frame rate there to make sure that it is really 25. If it is, then right click on the footage and go the intepret footage dialog box and select 25fps…Now drop that into a 25fps comp and all should play well.

    Regards
