  Unintended Black Spots appearing?

  Hi, I’m trying to render a compilation of many smaller animations into a larger final animation.

  However, everytime I attempt to render or view it, I’ve noticed random black pixels appearing in the brighter areas.

  Here’s a screenshot:

  I don’t know why it’s doing this and I’ve verified that the black spots don’t show up in the original – only in the adobe after effects rendering.

  Does anyone know how to fix this?

  tell us your color management, bits per channel, and output codec settings.

  weird. looks like a wrap around of RGB information so bright it went back to 0.
  try changing project settings to 16bpc from 8bpc and rendering out a single uncompressed frame like png.

  If that doesn’t work, do a quick filter check by adding the effect -Levels and make input 18-235 and output 18-235. 18 being black and 235 being white. Then render out a single frame png again.

  In the intepret footage dialog turn the alpha off and see if it fixes the problem.
