i’ve been looking for a way to make some sort of “The Flash” Lightning effect in cinema 4d , but haven’t found any way to do so , I am aware of the 2 point python script that some one made about 5 years ago , its pretty good , but that’s not what i’m looking for , Does anyone have any ideas about this , i am willing to use 3rd party plugins and software even , but if it would have a good integration with cinema 4d then it would be sweet. Thanks (my first post here ☺ )

x-particles has a generator that’s good for this sort of thing. Great plugin, but way expensive if this is the only thing you’d use it for.

There used to be a really cheap, or maybe even free plugin that did something like this, but I don’t know if it’s still available, or whether it works in recent versions of Cinema.
