    New to Cinema 4d.
I am learning to composite background using Cinema 4d.
I tried to add a 3d Text to a picture of a lake. However I cannot get the text’s reflection in the waters. Turning on the reflection option in the materials tag doesn’t give the desired effect.
Can anyone give any advise to get the watery reflection in my project.

If by “background” you mean a plane to which you have applied your picture of a lake, add a basic reflection to the material (click the “Add” button and select “Reflection (Legacy) under “Type”) and reduce the Global Reflection Brightness in order to see both the image and the reflection.

If that doesn’t help, post your project file so we have a better idea about what you’re doing.
