    Hi everybody.

I have a setup built in this way:

    – a horizontal cylinder
    – attached to the both ends of the cylinder there are two splines
    – at the other ends of the splines i have two cubes (one per spline), “hanged” to the splines.

When the cylinder rotates on its Y axe, my spline rotates with him and also the cubes, in a kind of Baby crib mobile effect.

For doing that, i gave to the spline the “spline dynamics tag”, setting the fixed point where they are attached to the top cylinder. Then i added a constrain and i fixed the constrain point at the end of the spline, which goes a little bit inside the cube.

Then i added a spring, connecting the Spline as Object A and the cube as Object B.

Everything was working fine. But my spline in the end will be like metal wires, so i increased the Rest mix in the spline dynamics tab, so when the cylinder rotate, they move with that but they do not “wobble” so much.

The problem is that the cube stay hanged to the spline as long as the rotation doesn´t stop. Then the spring keep swinging some cm more than the wire and so my spline (my metal wire) goes out of the cube.

I hope i had been clear enough. Is there a way to control the swinging of the spring?

Thanks in advance to all of you.
