    Hey C4D community, I just made these tire tracks or treads or whatever they’re called and I wanted to bend it to make a tire but when I use the bend, some weird stuff happens instead of it bending to make a circle shape. It bends the entire object instead of making it like a circle.

    just one forum note, you should copy/paste the links the load mechanism gives you back into your post, otherwise people have to click on your name to find the files you uploaded…

    The bend needs to be bigger than the object to be bent (or ideally just bigger) – that’s what the Fit To Parent button in the Bend/Object tab is for. Also the Bend needs to be rotated (probably -90° in B) but do that before you change the size to match the object.

    Hey Brian, thanks for replying. I did try what you did by fitting it to parent but it didn’t work well. I’ll attach the cinema 4d file link here. Please see if you can spot the problem.

    My bad, I forgot to rotate the bend object. Thanks for the help!!!
