beginner vidoe footage pixelated
what type of camera do you use to bring in footage in after effeects so the picthure is not pixelated, im use my ordinarinary digital at mo which has a vidoe camera option.

The pixelization could be coming from how the video was ingested to the system (ie. captured via firewire, thru SDI, etc.), there are a lot of factors in capturing good quality video. What camera to use? That’s a loaded question, depends on the project. Try recapturing your video using the highest quality settings in your NLE.

If I understand correctly, you are using the video mode on a digital still camera and transferring the video to the computer via USB cable. If that is correct than that is the highest quality you are going to get going this route. I would suggest using a digital video camera that has a firewire out option and ingest the video into a Non-Linear editing program, such as Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro.

right whats a fire out option is that a cable like a usb port on the camera, and why the editing program premiere does afer effects not have non lineaer editing because im unsure what non linear editing is….is non linear editing better footage on a digital camera,
