  • Different glows in viewport & picture viewer windows

Posted by Grant Muir on March 9, 2017 at 12:33 am

I was wondering if anyone might be able to help with my problem. When I do a Render view from my camera I get the top image, however when I render queue or Render To Picture Viewer I get the bottom image.

Anyone know what I am doing wrong? There are no lights in the scene, the only illumination is from the cubes. I have Global Illumination & Glow Object turned on in render settings.

I really need the illumination to be smooth like the top picture.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

this looks like Gabriels’ thread from a couple days ago, can you post the scene file?

    All sorted thanks.

Ended up switching to GI & Glow in Render settings instead of a Glow material & Object glow.

Also needed to switch the GI Cache setting to Full Animation.
