I have been having a glitch recently with Cinema 4D R17. In the transparency channel, you can set absorption color and distance. I have found that when I set my absorption distance to more than zero, sometimes certain frames will only render in the color channel of that absorption color. Specifically, in this project I am using ice, which has a blue absorption color. Certain frames will only render the blue channel.

I have noticed this issue before in a previous project, so it is not specific to this file (in the previous project, I decided I didn’t really need the absorption distance and so just turned it to zero). However, in this project, I really need to use absorption distance.

Some things that I have tried (that did not work):
    The normals are not flipped
Sometimes turning off the Connect object that the ice is in makes in render correctly in the editor, but it still does not render correctly in the viewer

I am attaching images of the glitch.

    Thanks for your help!
