Emitter Metaball Render Problem
Hello creative cows of the world,
I currently was testing cinema 4d and tried out making this cartoon flame from this tutorial on youtube…
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=byNsfWOPCOw&t=1046s
Now, went thorugh the process and everything was looking all well and good. I was as happy as a billygoat.
But then it came to render time. So as I preview on the viewport the flame looks great…
OUUUH YEAAH
alas…when I render it on the viewer or batch render it..all I get is a few miserable dots in the image.
Its built with an emitter shooting gemetric balls up in the virtual world in a metaball object (is it called that?) and then put a smoothing modifer on top of that to make look all cool and whispy.
I have already checked the fps are both the same in the project and the render settings.
The viewport timeline is at show all frames
I have already cached the emitter while having the metaball turned off
I tried going to project settings > dynamics > Cache > bake…but all it does it show a window for a microsecond and nothing else…
What is going on hear!
I thank you in advance for any help 🙂
