    Hi,
I am creating a simple effect and need some tips from experts. These will be spheres formed as bubbles and I want them each of cloned instances of these spheres (bubbles) to burst with some time interval. They will float in air for a while and then burst one by one.

I believe PolyFX would do the trick but if you have any suggestions or a different more realistic approach, please comment.

    Thanks

depends on whether you are looking for real-time speed or slo-mo and whether the bubbles are small (spherical) or large enough to have trouble maintaining a spherical shape. Bubbles break so fast that unless you are going slo-mo it would maybe be better to have the bubble disappear and generate a small burst of tiny particles at that same location

    hi Brian
Thanks for responding. Bubbles will take the most of screen area but not required overly big. I will prefer slow mo effect.
I would prefer to use some falloff (of polyfx or explosion fx or may be something else) as a burst controller to gradually burst it in x direction.

I have tried explosion fx but it seems I am not being able to adjust parameters as desired. That’s why in view of my above response, can you please guide me in right direction.

Thanks again for being of great help.

    SMI
