    Hi,

Does anyone have an idea of how to go about this? What shader would you use? I’m currently using a mix of layers in the luminance channel on a planar object and a solid on top of it (the plastic) with a glass material. The issue i have is getting it to glow like a lit sign. Any pointers much appreciated.

it’s all about the X and the Y

Do you have a photo reference? Generally if you want a material to emit light you would use luminance along with global illumination. You can also use the material glow channel (or do that in post with an object buffer).
