  Default light

  Hi, when I try to make something in C4D there is always turned some light on, so I wanna ask whether I can adjust the brightness of this light, because it’s very intense. Thanks!

  If you go into Render Settings>Options you can adjust the global brightness.

  Also, if you create your own lights and use gouraud shading you won’t see the default lighting.

  Having said that, the default light shouldn’t be overwhelming by default. You might need to adjust your monitor.
