  • How to select multiple objects within other objects

    Hi guys

I have a converted Solidworks object (which has been made by someone else), and inside this object are smaller objects (circuit board). Think a Russian Doll. Id like to make a selection and move all these objects at the same time but i only seem to be able to select the outer most layer.

Using the layer panel is useless as there a many unanmed layers which do not apply to what i need to do.

Is there a selection tool to help with this?

    Thanks a lot

If you hold down Control and click the RMB with the live selection tool active you should get a list of objects that are in front of the cursor and you can select from that list. If you shift + RMB you can add to the selection by picking from the list.
