    hi everyone,

I think what i need is rather simple but i cannot find anything similar.

Having particles been generated from an object (volume) with either xParticles or Thinking particles
is it possible to control the distribution having for example more particles in the centre rather the edges of the object?

    thank you in advance

You can control various functions, including emission, with a texture using either TP Matterwaves or Xparticles.

thank you Adam for the quick reply

not sure how i could do this if the particles are filling the object’s volume.

    for example:
in Xparticles i have a sphere as the emitter set to object volume
and the emission is just a pulse with 0 speed (the particles freeze)
how can i use a texture to fill more particles in the centre of the sphere following a gradient with less particles towards the surface

    thanx again
