    Hello World! Please help!
I am working on a project in Cinema 4D, and I want to animate plain effector put cloner object.

Plain effector should move to the left (frame 1) to right (frame 2)
Even if I applied keyfream, oject not move.
I tried to animate other objects and I get the same result – not moving
    How can I fix this!
    Where am I wrong
It is possible that the project be broken?

    Please help!

have you successfully used keyframes before? From your description I can’t tell if you are using two keyframes or only one (and you have to have at least two). If it’s not that we’re going to need more info.

    Hi Brian!
I want to move Plain effector from position A to position B; for example, the X axis.

For position A, I set keyframe (control key + click) X axis; I then moved the object to position B, X axis and I used again control key + click, and we added another keyframe for position B.
But my object does not move, even though it has two different keyframes.
I’ve tried many items and so, the animation does not work.

At the beginning of this project, everything worked well!
Maybe I set something by mistake! I do not know.

Your scene could be corrupt. Try copying everything and pasting it in a new scene.

Just had a similar problem. After some searching, I figured out that I’d put the objects in question on a layer that had is animation turned off. So yeah the animation was working you just couldn’t see it because the layer was muting it. I’m not sure how I turned it off in the first place. Maybe a hotkey or something? At any rate one click and it was good too go.

It might be the X direction is local for the plane effector but not for the project. Try keyframing all the directions at the same time and see if it animates then. (but only move it in what you assume is the X)
