    Hi there,
I’m fairly new to cinema 4d, I’ve used it for a couple of project where I modeled and animated objects myself but now i’ve downloaded some models online but I don’t know how to import them into the program. The models have individual folders with .tif and .xfr files. Could someone explain me how to import them?
    Thanks in advance.
    Best,
    Thom

the only .xfr file type associated with 3D (that I know of) are XFrog models, you’d need the XFrog plugin to read those. If you are looking for some plants XFrog does give away free models from time to time and those can be downloaded in .c4d format (amongst other formats), Laubwerk has a free trial set for their plugin as well. The .tiff files will be textures for the models.
