  • Linking Sound Keys & timeremapping

    Hi there, doesnt seem to find an answer somewhere.
    What I’m trying to do is linking trapcode soundkeys to a timeremapping of a composition.

    The composition is an animation of 100 frames, soundkeys setup to output a 0-100 range. When I pickwhip-link the two with an expression, the timeremapping stays at 100 and is not affected by the soundkeys generated keyframes.

    Propably gonna be something stupid I forgot but can’t seem to solve it at the moment… Anyone can enlighten me ?

    Your time remapping exprssion expects seconds, not frames. You probaly just need to add this to the end of the expression:

    *thisComp.frameDuration;

    Hey Dan, tnx. It was indeed the conversion to time.
    I simply added framesToTime(value) to the output of the Soundkeys
    and worked out great !
