  • How to render all frames of render region only

I have a project that will take forever to render if every frame is rendered in full. So what I want to do is in After Effects, use one full frame with all objects included, then mask off and add individual render regions – instead of rendering the whole scene in every frame. In other words, I want to set a render region and only render that section for all frames. Is this possible?

yes, there is a setting in Render Settings/Output called Render Region, activate that and it allows you to set your boundaries (or copy them from the interactive render region).

Thanks Brian, I have tried that and it only gave me the first frame.

it will render all the frames if you set the Frame Range to All Frames
