  Splines wont extrude in C4D Lite

  I don’t have a full version of C4D only the Lite version that has come with AE. I’m also very new to C4D but come from a 27 year graphics and video background. I have a logo that I created for a client. I want to extrude the logo in C4D. I saved it as an Il 8 File. Open in C4D. Do an ExtrudeNurbs and parent. But Nothing. Attached is a screen shot.

  Any advice would be grateful or explanation.

  You need to check the hierarchical checkbox on the extrude nurb. Extrude nurb only extrudes the first object by default, and in this case, that is a null that contains your path. Checking hierarchical tells it to look at all objects.
