Problem in extruding AI file inside C4D
Hi there
I have a very basic logo which was initially in pdf format and that I saved as AI file to import in C4d for extrude. Extrude option gave me a wierd apperance for the letter “P” which has a cut on the the upper side, a hole is pretty obvious. Tried weld option in vertex mode but nothing has worked so far. Any suggestions?
The Illustrator file’s link is also copied below for you ref that I imported in C4D.

There are two points very close together at the inside/top of the P’s cutout. You can select them and run the Weld command, or select the spline with all or no points selected and run optimize, setting the distance to around 0.05. Either method will fix the problem. Or, you can just select on of those points and move it a little on the X axis.
