  How to make a sine wave react to music?

  hi there

  i don’t know if someone can help me out on this. i’m trying to bring this visual to life (see linked image)

  i have it gently undulating (see linked C4D 14 file) but i’d like to get the sine to peak in time with music via a sound effector, if possible, while still undulating. i can’t figure out how to get the xpresso to work… anyone good with xpresso and adjusting formulas?
