I’ve just started exploring Sketch & Toon in C4D to create a technical drawing and export it to Illustrator, however I’ve just come across a problem and no matter what settings I’ve changed nothing seems to work.

I’ve booled 2 objects and applied the S&T material to them but there’s a line missing where the objects meet each other.

Can anybody help me fix this please?

This should link to my test file if it helps.

    Many thanks.

There are also too many lines in my AI export file that don’t appear in my C4D render preview, what are the correct settings should I be using in my export?

    Thanks

For the first missing line I set the Sketch&Toon tag to Intersection and in the Intersection menu I set Objects to “Hierarchy”.
For the second image you should apply a Sketch&Toon tag to the inner part of the cogwheel and set the Sketch&Toon material also for “Default Hidden”

OK, so I’ve managed to sort out of the parts of my model using Sketch & Toon.
I just have one part of it where it’s not quite rendering the same as the rest of the parts. I don’t want to see the creases in it but whichever settings i select I can’t seem to find the settings I’m looking for, any advice?

The part of the model I’m refering to is labelled ’16 Washer’

    Thanks in advance.

I set the Creases Min angle in the Sketc&tToon tag from the default value of 10° to 20° and I believe I got what you are after
