Wondering is there a setting or technic I can use to speed up my render. My issue is I have hair in my scene that I’m using to create grass.

What I’m noticing is when my camera has passed the part with grass and is looking at a bulling and only the building, the render is it still prepping hair even though its not in the frame at all.

I’m planning on rendering it in sections and disabling the hair once I’m done with that part of the scene.

Wondering why C4D is prepping hair when its not in the shot but it is in the scene? This also makes me wonder if C4D is doing any other extra calculations when it shouldn’t be?

    Thanks!

Cinema generally doesn’t consider whether generators like Hair are in the camera cone, so you’d just have to animate the Hair object on/off manually.

    Thanks for that!
