So I’m a novice I guess at Cinema 4D and I am created minecraft themed animated music video. I have made, rigged and textured and animated the character as I want it but I can’t clone it to have about 30 of them in an army all moving at the same time. If somebody could tell me how to basically grid array my moving characters and keep them all moving, It’d be much appricated. I have tried just pulling it unto a Cloner but the character it’s self just disappeared. I have tried ‘baking’ the animation movement in and then cloning it but no such luck there either.

Instead of cloning the charachter, create an xref of your character and clone the xref object. Hint: check the cloner’s “render instances” box to speed up editor display.
