I am shooting a music video that will have a simple performance (one singer) that needs to take place on like a 60’s TV show. I want to build a virtual set similar to the one in this photo littlesteviesetsample.jpg

The set is simple enough…a few ovals, back wall, floor…

Singer will be shot on green screen, with motion trackers on the screen, with just some subtle pans, short dolly moves, medium shots (various angles). Very slow, nothing too aggressive.

I suppose I should build the set in Cinema 4D, but Im not really sure the best workflow. I have just tinkered around with the program before, but my thinking is that I could just import the 3D tracking data from the the green screen shots (tracked in Mocha). I dont know if Im close here, or way off.

Ive searched around the net and all I can come up with is examples of really complicated set building (in after effects no less).

Here is the original video, which has the look and movement we are going for. https://youtu.be/sMWrvHl6Fpo

I know I could totally take the super long road and just mask out Stevie with our guy, but geeezzz…who wants to roto for a month?!

Anyways, any advice or direction would help out a lot.

    Many thanks in advance!
