  • How to achieve animation and post like this work?

Posted by Umer Zafar on February 7, 2013 at 7:35 pm

    Hello everybody,

I am working on a project which involves animation and post production similar to the work in this example:

    https://vimeo.com/43254534
    and
    https://vimeo.com/43255200

It seems to me there are multiple objects being animated on a single spline but how is the setup made?? thats what i need to know.

Also, any tips on the texture setup and after effects post will be appreciated greatly.

    Regards

it looks like a SweepNurb and the texture looks quite simple but the overlays in post make it seem more complex

you just need to connect the splines you are using for your shapes to run along the path spline. That can be done by making the splines editable and joining them into one object with the Connect command or by putting all the shape splines into a Connect Object and using that in the Sweep.
