    Hello,
I’m using a plugin called Ivy Generator for Cinema 4D,
I love the results but I’m wondering how can I animate the ivy growing over time…

the plugin generates a spline in the shape of the ivy but I don’t what to do with it

    Thanks in advance,
    Elad.

If you generate an IGSpline that will allow you to grow the ivy’s branches but there doesn’t seem to be a method of growing the leaves along with the branches.

The only workaround I found is putting the object inside a cloner, and using the plane effector to bring the leaves in …

    but it’s not exactly what I want…

So weird there’s no way to do that…kinda like the stroke effect in AE, when you check “make layer visible” and the stroke itself revealing the object…how didn’t they think of that? 🙂
