Hi there. I’m building a column, with 3 different bump maps: the surface texture, the fluting, and the horizontal division lines making it look like multiple chunks set on top of each other. I’ve got all 3 bump maps in a Layer shader, but I can’t figure out how to manipulate the position and scale of them independently of each other. Am I constrained to only using the overall texture tool, or can I adjust them independently to get the positioning I need?

    Thanks,
    Greg

you could use Transform from the Layer Shader’s Effects menu (put each image/Transform pair into a Folder to keep the Tranforms from ‘adding’) or use 3 Projectors from the Layer’s Shader/Effects and put your images in those. More control in the Projector but simpler with the Transform if you don’t need to change the actual projection of the images.
