  Clone onto a Text Spline

  Hello
  I’ve got a text spline – ie a piece of text with an outline.
  I want to clone lightbulbs inside the letters to create a theatrical sign effect – like the titles for Smash.
  The cloner only puts the bulbs around the edge of the letters. Any way I can get the bulbs to be in the centre of the letters?
  Also – I want the text to remain editable so it can be easily updated…

  Simple answer is yes… you have to change it to cloning on the surface…

  But from experience, to get the effect you are looking for you may have to break it down and put a selection tag on R1 (the front face).
