    I’ve figured out most of the Thinking Particles/TPfreeze/Pyrocluster Nebula setup (if anyone’s interested in the details, let me know). Pyrocluster is AMAZING. One persistent problem I’m having though, when the camera passes through a nebula, it causes the rest of the scene to flicker in a buggy-looking way, almost like the screen is flashing.

    Maybe I can just use multiple passes to render the nebula separately… unless someone knows a compositing tag trick or some such thing

    without seeing it I’d guess it might be World Step Size in the Volume Tracer check out Pyrocluster – Volume Tracer in the help.
