Nebula pyrocluster or not?
Hey guys,
This has come up on the cow a few times it seems (https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/19/860923#860928, https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/19/868298#868319).I’m trying to make a fly through outer space shot, complete with space dust and nebulae. If you’ve seen Thor, they did an awesome job with the Bifrost (https://www.buf.fr/visual_effects.php?display=movie&id=1011). Obviously I’m not getting that detailed.
Followed some tips from one of the previous posts about using TP, PFreeze and I’m using mograph matrix object in object mode to create the thinking particles. It kinda works, but I’m wondering if I’m going about this the hard way. I haven’t had the time to learn Pyrocluster or TP properly and they’re always a bit tricky. Time is an issue as well. Can anyone offer some more tips or is there an alternative method?
If only I could model some cloud-like shapes and then apply a soft-and-fuzzy effector 😉
Thanks,
Jake
