  Does anyone have any insight ast to how this look was accomplished?

  I assume it can be done in Cinema 4D and I have had some luck recreating it by hand but i have a sneaking suspicion that there is an easier way.

  I think it pretty much has to be done by hand — a matter of setting up all the cards in an appropriate heirarchy and animating rotation values.

  and take a look at the logo ‘flower’ unfolding frame by frame. Elements are appearing that weren’t there the frame before, it looks continuous at full speed but that part definitely looks like it’s mostly by hand.
