    I need some help. I´m making a 3D model of a bottle, but the bottle need a ribbon, like a necklace. I was trying whit splines but by the form of the bottle it is impossible to match. I also tried drawing around the bottle (the part between the body and the mouth) whit bezier curves but it is difficult. There is a way to adapt a form to and object?

    If you have cloth you can use the dress o matic option.
    Or you can make a copy of the bottle a delete what you dont need and model from that. This gives you the option to model with polys or you can convert the edges to splines and go from there.

    There are other options as well:

    * Stucture>Edit Spline>Project (spherical mode), to conform splines to the object;

    * Shrinkwrap deformer;

    * UV Deformer;

    * Model in place using polygon snapping.

    Isn’t using a lathe nurb is easiest way to model a bottle? Not sure about adding the necklace though. Sweep nurb maybe?
