  complex animation as slider or user value

  hey,

  i want to keyframe a complex animations on a machine with grabs something for example.the next step would be to having just one value where 0 is standing still and 100 is the “grab”. this way i could easily animate one value insteat of copying loads of keyframes.

  i think this poser mixer tag does something similar. not sure if it
  comes in handy…

  how could that be done in cinema 4d?

  I would set it up with xpresso you can set all this up with a user data slider and a range mapper most of the time.
  There are tutorials on c4d cafe that shows how. You need to be a member but they are free.
