New at this Cinema 4D thing, is there an easy way to import logos from photoshop into Cinema 4D? I’ve tried to use Illustrator but it doesn’t work…. Help!!!

Illustrator does work, but you have to save your file as version 8 or prior. You can then either open it directly into C4D using File->Open, or in the Objects pane, choose File->Merge Objects and it will bring the paths into your current scene.

…and in order to extrude a logo from ai with multiple paths, make your imported ai path a child of an extrude nurbs object and make sure ‘hierarchal’ is checked in the extrude nurbs property window.
