I have another question i hope someone can offer some direction to! I have two pictures bellow. As you can see i am having a difficult time getting these leaves to align to the s branch spline. (yes i know this is not a visually stimulating nor anatomically correct representation, its just so i can learn to do this!) How does one go about attaching the stem side of the leave planes to align with a parent spline object. Tutorials seem never to offer this information as i have yet found. Any information as well as tips on good tutorials of this order are most welcome!

you need to move the axis to the end of the stem.

How can I do that exactly? is that through the structure menu if so I don’t know exactly how to move the axis. I understand what you are saying just don’t know the drill. Thanks for your help by the way! Any information is greatly appreciated.

Your object needs to be editable. So select the polygon object and press “C”
then on the side bar menu you can select the Move Axis tool. Select that and move the axis over to where your stem should start.

Here is a screen grab of that tool. https://skitch.com/randy-johnson/rp2xn/untitled-1
