Three-tone colour
Hi all,
I’m trying to recreate an effect I saw GKaster pull off with amazing results. If you haven’t seen / heard of GKaster you’re in for a treat! :)What he does with light (as well as everything else!) is amazing…..
At exactly 1 minute on this video, he uses some sort of shader to create a three tone colour effect on some transparent shapes.
I’m sure there’s an awful lot going on here in terms of the colour and shading. Being fairly new to 3D, I’ve tried something myself, see below. I just used any old image of the sky for the sky object material.
I’ve just used various shaders in the color channel. However, I can’t seem to get a three colour thing going on. Is this an expresso thing, whereby the colour is mapped in terms of where the camera is in relation to the object?! No idea!…….
Would be great to have some more ideas and feedback as to exactly how this is achieved….
many thanks…
