Pretty new to C4D and 3D in general so this is probably an easy fix. I was modelling an eye and wanted to put some eyelashes on the lid. I selected my polygons, and went to simulation->hair objects->add hair.

The hairs appeared as expected but they were facing the wrong way, coming out of the “inside” of the eyelid. i tried changing the growth to “direction” but they still face the wrong way. It seems like i need to inverse the normals of my plane object or something… is there a way to do this?

    thanks in advance

Select the relevant polygons and run Functions>Reverse Normals.
