Attaching Sound Effector to Material properties
I’ve watched a lot of tutorials and searched a lot of forums but there are some basics that i’m still not understanding.
I want to animate this spikey orb (picture below) to do 2 things:
1. Increase/Decrease variables in the materials
2. incremental rotation based on audio peaks. ie Rotation doesn’t return to 0,0,0 when audio stops but maintains new value value. (Ideally the direction would seem random, but this makes it too complex)
“displacement” settings based on audio. (ie displacement “strength”)I’m able to get Xpresso to give me a result for the frequency, but dont know how to link that to the material’s displacement settings.
