    Hello everyone!

I have a very amateurish halt in my cinema project, I have sitting for an hour trying to move my grid to get angled with a texture that I Imported as a background.

Here is a picture explaining for those who has troubles understanding my late night problem:

Yes, as you see I created a simple background and added a material with my screenshot of the game called Team fortress 2 – the project has nothing to do with it at all it’s just that you can import camera position between the game engine and cinema 4d –. I want to angle my grid as it become the floor of the ground in my background. It will contribute to the lovely snap ability as a future work ability.

In short context: Is it possible to move and rotate the grid in Cinema 4D?

Sorry for my lack of knowledge and the low English grammar language, I’m Swedish!

    Thanks you!

You could try rotating the camera so that the grid matches the BG image’s floor, or you could create a Construction Plane object and rotate it to match(Objects>Modeling>Construction Plane).

That sounds good then I just lock the camera! 🙂

But with the construction plane, is there a way to make it transparent/wireframe so it sort of become a “stand-in”-grid?

When you create a construction plane it replaces the standard grid. It’s just like it except it can be moved, scaled, and rotated.
