  • strange artifacts in parameterized sky animation

    Hi,
    perhaps anyone can help me.
Im trying to create parameterized animations, which moods change. Therefore I use two dummy objects for the beginning and the end of the animation, which contain the parameter for the chosen mood. These two dummy objects are used to calculate the parameters between the beginning and the end of the animation.(The calculation depends also on the selected animation duration and the current frame.) The calculated parameters are given to the real object or material. This works fine for all materials, and lights.

But I have problems with the sky object. It has strange artefacts, lines, (moire?). I don’t know what the problem is. There is no further animation in the sky objects like noises, I only use the sun and sky shader and change parameters like intesity or color. I render the animation as tiffs, with 8bit it’s a little bit better, with 16 bit worse.

Does anyone know this artefact problem with the sky?

I added a small video to show my problem, I hope you can see it, it’s my first post 🙂
