    Hi
I’m new to C4D and can fix most of my ‘problems’ by reading about C4D and watching tuts online, but there’s a thing that puzzles me a bit. I don’t know what I need to do to achieve what I want, so searching for it makes it even more difficult. This might be very easy for you guys 🙂

I’ll just explain what I’m trying to do here and hope the right lingo comes along in your answer…

I have a cube and a cone. They are positioned on top of eachother, so the cube has a pointy hat. I want to smooth out the area where the cone touches the cube. So it looks like the cube has an ‘organic’ connection withthe cube. I know this can be done by extruding the cone from the cube and hypernurbs and knifecurts, but there must be a trick to to make it work another way as I want oher object to blend into eachother (like spokes on a wheel etc)….

    Hope this made sense 🙂

    TIA,

    JAY

If they are one object you can use the bevel and fillet tools. Otherwise, HN and general subdivision surface modeling is it.
