  Importing then Extruding a Text Spline from Illustrator

  Hello,

  I’m working a logo. I had to have someone send me the text in a spline from Illustrator and brought the word into my scene in C4D 10.5.

  I’m trying to Extrude the text but it’s not responding. Do I need to do something to the splines before adding the extrude nurb?

  There should be something visible after you drop the spline in the ExtrudeNurb – it might not be right depending whether splines are closed etc.

  …unless your logo came in as a bunch of separate splines or a bunch of splines in a null, then you would have to check off Hierarchical in the Extrude’s settings to get them to show.

  The Hierarchical box was unchecked/.
