  Is There A ‘Sure Target’ Effect In C4D?

  I need to fly a camera around plates (that I can replace with videos or photos).

  I attempted this in After Effects using Andrew Kramer’s Sure Target plug-in (https://www.videocopilot.net/preset/presets_and_more/). It worked great except that the scene doesn’t really doesn’t LOOK 3D.

  My alternative is to use C4D. I have my geometry of flat squares set up, and would like the camera to fly around them, but I’d like to use a Sure Target type of function/effect/preset instead of keyframing every single camera move.

  Is there a way?

  You could automate it using align-to-spline expressions and the stage object to switch cameras (if needed), or you could use a plugin like SteadyCamPRO which is available for purchase here https://www.tcastudios.com/ (no connection but a happy customer).

  Thanks to both of you. I just animated it manually, but now it ust looks like a series of squares. I’m trying to create this effect

  Another way in case you don’t want to buy a plug-in is to convert your AE scene into C4D environment (quite long and might not be a short cut in case of few targets), it’s described on this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9U4EQtOiyA (I know it’s in russian but it’s easily understandable anyway).
