  alphachannel on texture

  Hi,

  I’m busy doing this tutorial

  I cut out a building in Photoshop and camera-mapped it on a plane

  It works, but all alpha goes white..

  how can I let C4D respect the alpha channel?

  Or do I have to cut the plane to size?

  Did you put the image in your material’s alpha channel? If so, you may need to click on the image name and then click on the “Layerset” button. That will bring up a PS-like display where you can pick the channel you want to use.

  yes! got it

  I put the texture in the color as well as alpha channel
  and chose ‘generate alpha’ in the layerset dialog of the alpha channel
