I want to scale an entire scene down by half without changing the relative positions of the objects. I’ve got a large terrain, with a water plane, and buildings, and also an array of lights. I’ve tried putting them all into a null and scaling the null, but as soon as the objects go INTO the null they change their locations and are no longer in the right relation to each other. The same happens if I select them and group them. I also tried just selecting all the objects and using the scale parameter in the Coordinate box to scale them by .5 all at the same time, but again they change positions. Is this some kind of axis issue? Is there a way to actually scale numerous objects simultaneously while keeping their positions relative to each other?

    thanks,
    Jack
