how do i change the view that the picture viewer renders? i have the perspective view active when i render but no matter what angle i try it always renders the same angle every time. i know it must be something simple i am forgetting cause i dont recall having this problem before.

you can have any number of cameras so there is a system to tell C4D which camera you want to use right now. Either go to the viewport Camera menu and choose the Editor Camera or whichever camera you want from the Scene Cameras list or (easier) click on the little ‘target reticule’ to the right of the 3 dots (the layer dot and the two Visible in Editor/Visible in Renderer dots) beside the camera in the Object Manager

Thanks, I should have known it was the same as when you render video.
